The initial deposit bonus currently on offer is a deposit match offer of 100% up to $1000 which looks pretty nice. When we signed up for an account recently we followed the instructions on the site and emailed support in order to claim the bonus.
Within fifteen minutes of our email we got a reply which pointed out that the rakeback would not start until after we had cleared the bonus amount (which we already knew) and that the deposit bonus amounted an equivalent rakeback amount of 82%.
That wasn’t a problem rally, as we didn’t know at that time how much rakeback we would receive there anyway, as it would depend on the level of play. The final point (which we also knew, but had forgotten) was that the bonus is only cleared in one go. A lot of poker rooms pay out their deposit bonus in increments of $10 or similar. So if you make a big deposit but don’t play all the required hands in the allotted time, then at least you will have gotten some of the bonus amount.
But needing to clear the whole bonus in one go would mean that if we missed the requirements for any reason then we would not get any of the bonus amount at all.
On balance then it seemed like the right choice was to forego the deposit bonus and then automatically get paid the rakeback amount due every day. That is what we chose, and sure enough the rakeback amount for our first days play was placed in our player account at about 10 minutes past midnight.
The player numbers are still light on this site, though it is early days yet. It might indeed have been difficult to get enough games in the allotted time to clear the full bonus.
